Our fall meetings consists of demonstrations from several of our our local Florida Chapter members. This event can’t happen without you! We need members to volunteer to give presentations on subjects related to period furniture. Typically, presenters are given an hour to present. Topics can be step-by step walk through of a furniture build, a how-to on techniques that you have used, even a jig or some other tool used in your build process. Will you consider making a presentation this Fall? Perhaps you're working on something right now. It’s still early, so you have plenty of time to prepare. Remember to take picture of your progress to show us.
The presentations will be preceded by Show and Tell. Everyone is invited to bring in their pieces to display and discuss. Examples include completed furniture pieces, woodworking tools, samples of techniques, etc., anything related to period furniture construction that you think would be of general interest to others.
This program is open to all SAPFM members. There is no cost to attend. Lunch will be at one of the many restaurants nearby the location.
