This is an air-dried cherry tilt-top tea table I made in December of 2010. The lumber I acquired from a home in Kirkwood, Missouri from a tree struck by lightening during a thunder storm. Due to a lack of experience in the process of air drying wood, most of the lumber we saved was not of much use. However, there was enough to reproduce this piece. It is composed of several examples in the Queen Anne Style, but most reflects the Philadelphia area.
Brass latch supplied by Horton Brasses.
