Built for a client in Pennsylvania, the primary wood is Caribbean mahogany and secondary wood is poplar. The client referred me to a couple of antique tables he liked on the websites of Philadelphia-area antique dealers. The dealers were kind enough to work with me on providing dimensions and additional photographs. I combined features from both tables and altered the dimensions to accommodate the leg lengths of 20th-century card players.
The table is finished with paste wood filler, transtint dyes, shellac, and lacquer. The hardware is from Whitechapel, Ltd.
