This is my replica/interpretation of Thomas Jefferson's revolving bookstand.
The original was created circa 1810, designed by Thomas Jefferson and probably made in the joinery at Monticello.
The easels are adjustable to different angles, and the center core can be rotated.
I referenced the information and photograph from the Jefferson Foundation, Inc. and also the article in American Period Furniture(December 2015, volume 15) by Daniel D. Hrinko.
The brass hinges are from Horton Brass.
