Ogee bracket feet, five shell carved interior with flame tipped columns on prospect drawers. The wood (Swietenia mahogani) was cut from a dead tree that was planted in 1929 in Miami, Florida and milled with a chainsaw lumber mill. The secondary wood is poplar; the hardware is from Ball & Ball. The desk was oxidized with potassium dichromate and finished with shellac and wax.
