This is a Hepplewhite-style bowfront chest that incorporates elements of several different pieces I saw in Boston,MA and Portsmouth, NH and in Sack's Good, Better, Best.
The case veneer is curly beech that I dyed. The drawer fronts are bent lamination of steamed beech. The drawer front veneer is dyed avodire crotch with tulipwood banding and ebony cockbeading.
The drawers sides and backs are cherry, the web frames and carcass are steamed beech, and the drawer bottoms are cherry plywood. They are veneered with cherry, curly maple, satinwood and curly anigre.
