This Seymour Ladies Table was my first attempt at large-scale veneering.

I used plans from Tim Killen and benefited greatly from online videos by Tim Killen and Steve Latta.

Veneer was applied with hide glue and includes redwood burl, satinwood and walnut on the top.
The drawers and case feature madrone burl, chestnut burl and walnut.

For the finish, I applied several coats of amber shellac.

Hardware: Horton Brasses.

This Seymour Ladies Table of the Federal Period is made of Mahogany and secondary Poplar. It measures 29 1/2" H x 20 1/4" W x 16" D. Made in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
