Philadelphia Chippendale chair. The wood is Tiger maple. Finish is linseed oil, both water soluble dye and solvent based toners. Shellac, glaze, and wax.

 

Ancanthus carving on the knees. Shells on front rail and crest rail.Stop fluting on the rear posts. As well as volutes on the splat and crest rail.
