SAPFM is pleased to announce we are once again accepting applications for educational grants. Grants are awarded based on one of three qualifications.

1) Support for full time academic study in a field directly related to period furniture making, but not exclusively as a period cabinetmaker.

2) Support for research for a book or article directly related to period furniture.  This could be used for travel, materials, photography, etc., as proposed by the applicant.

3) Support for attendance by a full time student at a seminar or conference such as, but not limited to, the CWF Working Wood Conference, Winterthur Furniture Forum, or MESDA’s Furniture Conference.

The deadline for applications is June 15 and awards will be announced by September 1. The educational grant application information can be found on our website.
