SAPFM is kicking off a new group which will meet online to discuss the traditional tools and methods used to make period furniture. The SAPFM Unplugged Online Group will be open to all SAPFM members in good standing. Ron Aylor is the SAPFM Unplugged Online Group Lead and is planning the inaugural meeting for Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 8:00 pm EST via Zoom. Ron is planning the first meeting to be a "meet and greet," and is planning to conduct monthly meetings thereafter.
We will post instructions on registration for the inaugural meeting on the "Upcoming Events" section of sapfm.org in early April. SAPFM members should plan to bring a shop-made tool to share as you introduce yourself to the group, as well as a description of how you employ the tool in your woodworking. There will be a round table discussion to gather ideas for future meetings.
