Woodworking Workshops of the Shenandoah Valley
As a subtle business ploy I would like to post our itinirary for our November Workshop
"Building a Federal Bedside Table"
November 13-17  8am-5pm

MONDAY
Safety checklist
Cut legs
Taper legs
Mortise legs
Cut notch and glue fine line
Rough out sides, back and rails

TUESDAY
Size sides, back, and rails clean up and tennon
Dovetail top rail
Tennon center and bottom rails
Rough out top
Rough out drawer fronts

WEDNESDAY
Size and glue up top
Cut notch for banding around bottom of skirt
Assemble carcass
Size and veneer drawer fronts
Rough out drawer sides, backs, bottoms, bearers and guides

THURSDAY
Trim veneer off drawer fronts and notch for banding
Size drawer sides and back then cut dovetails
Size and attach drawer guides and bearers
Assemble drawer add banding
Size, clean up and then glue up drawer bottoms
Bore holes for fastening top

FRIDAY
Cut notch across legs for banding skirt
Notch and band top
Set inlaid fans in corners of top
Cut banding for sides and front
Take home to finish up
Clean up shop
