Join me for a fun weekend honing your furniture design skills June 26th – 27th, 2010 at Marc Adams School of Woodworking. In this weekend workshop you’ll get a basic course in design fundamentals: proportions, forms, how to organize a design, how to size and apply ornament and moldings, we’ll even unlock some of the design secrets in the ancient classic orders and show how they can be applied to many design problems. Bring along a sketch book and any ideas you’ve been mulling over for a future project. We’ll take time to let you put this knowledge to paper and flesh out your own designs. Prepare to have your eyes opened to see furniture in a new way.
