Happy Spring to everyone.  I hope you have all been able to dig out from
under the snow.  It's almost time for the April meeting and we need a
head count for the meeting, for the Marshall House Tour and for dinner in
the evening.  Please give me a reply for each as soon as possible.  As
always, feel free to invite guests, spouses and potential members but
include them in the count.  Non members can attend one meeting before
joining SAPFM.  If you know a young person with an interest in
woodworking by all means, bring him or her to the meeting.

The meeting will be on April 11 at the Woodcraft Store in Glen Allen, VA,
in the western Richmond suburbs at 9862 W Broad St, Glen Allen, VA 23060 (Gaskins Road exit off I-64 is the closest interstate exit).  Phone number of the store is (804) 355-3945

Doors will open at 9:00 and the schedule will be as follows:

9:00  - Doors open, coffee and donuts and get acquainted

9:30  - Short business meeting on chapter issues and national
developments, including the midyear

10:00 - Bruce Leonard will discuss the use of a scratch box to make
quarter columns as he did on his recent Thomas White desk project

11:00 - Steve Dietrich will discuss southern cellarettes and his recent
project

12:00 - Lunch in the store (as usual, we will bring in sandwiches)

12:45- Brian Weldy of the Hay Shop at Williamsburg will discuss his
construction of a Thomas Seymour table

3:00 - 5:00 - Tour of the John Marshall house in Richmond (Tour fee is
$8.00, there are discounts for AAA and Senior Citizens)

5:30 - no host dinner at Penny Lane Pub  near the John
Marshall house at 421 E. Franklin St.

Cost of the meeting, including lunch will be $20.00, not including the
house tour)

We need a count of those attending as soon as possible to complete the
arrangements.  Please reply to my email and let us know:
1)  If you will attend the meeting

Thank you all and I hope to see many of you in April.
