Speaking of wood threads!

Anyone have any thoughts on how many threads per inch a 3-1/2" - 4" diameter screw should have?
One, Two or Three? and how deep would the thread(90 degree included angle) actually be? As deep as it is wide?

Thanks, Tony

There should be 1 to .5 the depth is (for 90 degree threads) 1/2 the tooth width, so for 1 TPI the depth would be 1/2" for .5 TPi 1".
