Just a quick note, we have some really great upcoming classes.

First up, our very own Freddy Roman is teaching a week long class here at the Acanthus Workshop on a beautiful inlaid Seymour table. The class runs from September 10th through September 14th. We've only got a couple of people registered so take advantage of this opportunity to spend some quality one on one learning time with Freddy as part of a very small group. Remember SAPFM members get a 10% discount on registration. Email me for additional details. Check out http://www.acanthus.com/2011/09/22/journeyman-level-class-inlaid-stand-with-freddy-roman/ for more details on the class.

On September 22nd and 23rd, I'll be teaching a carving fundamentals http://www.acanthus.com/2011/09/22/carving-fundamentals class in my shop. There is still 1 bench space available.

In October (19-21 to be exact) we'll be copying the only known 19th Century plant stand thought to be made by Duncan Phyfe. It is a really great piece with some interesting details. Why not join us if you're available. http://www.acanthus.com/2011/09/22/journeyman-level-class-phyfe-style-plant-stand/
