Relative prices of period furniture

In 1760, John Goddard charged L 90 for a "scolloped tea table" and only L 60 for one of the fancy corner chairs.

For those of you who've made both of these pieces, especially Al, since you've done it repeatedly:  Do those numbers make sense in terms of your experience of what it takes to build these two items?  That the corner chair costs 2/3 the tea table?  I'm not in business, and am not pricing or anything; I'm just very curious about what it took to make these pieces.

Thanks
JD

Prices are all relative, just as they are today. In the end, one piece brings one price because of demand another piece with more work brings another price. If you offer both your clients will come back to you for additional pieces.
