Hello. I recently watched a video (Roy Underhill) that "covered" the topic of chair seats and upholstery. Anyone else see this video and know of a source of the materials used? Linen Webbing, horse/boar hair, etc....

Two years ago at the Williamsburg Conference, "Chairs Revisited",  there was a handout of sources for these materials.  Let me do some digging in my files and and I will e-mail it to you off forum.
 
Norm, I'd also be very interested in a list of suppliers.  I've been totally unable to find a source for horsehair in the States, other than re-claimed material from an upholsterer friend.  Given that I've no idea how old the material is, or to what allergens it's been exposed, I'd rather not use the reclaimed stuff.
