The Georgia Peach State Chapter of SAPFM held their first event Nov 6&7 at the Roswell Georgia Woodcraft location.
28 members attended, which included 4 people who signed up for SAPFM that day.
Jeff Headley and Steve Hamilton provided a program on the construction of a miniature high boy, which has the same construction details as a full sized one. Additionally, they reviewed Thomas Affleck Philadelphia card table.
Sunday morning, Ronnie Young brought his completed Winchester county serpentine front desk and Ronnie and Jeff provided a discussion on the construction details.
Members brought in a wealth of examples of their work. Below are links to photos of the works provided.
This event demonstrated that the Peach State SAPFM has a great deal of talent and expertise that can be shared by the members. We look forward to hearing and seeing some of that in future meetings. Our next meeting is scheduled for February 11&12, 2011 at the Roswell Woodcraft.
