[font=times new roman, serif]This will be a one day free event where you will also have an opportunity to share your latest projects in our lunch-time “show and tell’ session.  Lunch, drinks and snacks will be provided.  Bring your small projects and a thumb-drive with larger projects.  [/font]


[font=times new roman, serif]Bill Markert has been researching early Georgia furniture for a number of years.  He will discuss the results of some of his research and present his replica of the earliest surviving piece of Georgia furniture.  This is a table attributed to Ebenezer, Georgia that dates back to about 1734.[/font]


[font=times new roman, serif]David Coker will discuss his research, design and construction of a pair of rice-carved four post beds based on an original bed from a Charleston, South Carolina rice plantation.  These beds were featured in the Summer Edition of Pins and Tails.[/font]


[font=times new roman, serif]Bob Baker recently completed a beautifully carved and figured Chapin high-chest.  He will present this chest and discuss the research, design and construction of this item.[/font]


[font=times new roman, serif]Jay Stallman will present his Newport tall case clock made from highly figured maple.  Jay was able to present some in-progress photos during our June show and tell but has completed more work on this clock and will have a longer time to present and answer questions at this meeting.[/font]


[font=times new roman, serif]Ron Young plans to complete a beautiful Federal Period reverse serpentine chest of drawers before our November meeting.  He will present the research, design and construction of this piece.[/font]
