McIntire Exhibit at the PEM

There is an exhibit of Samuel McIntire works starting in October at the PEM. I haven't seen it mentioned here so I thought I would. There is a walking tour of arcitecture to kick off the exhibit.

The McIntire exhibit at the Peabody Ess*x comes to a close in ten days (Feb. 24). If you haven't been and have the chance to go, it is well worth the trip. It is a fantastic gathering of Samuel McIntire's architectural and furniture carving. There is even a video demo of Phil Lowe carving some McIntire stuff. If you are a fan of American Federal furniture, this is a must-see exhibit.
