I will be starting a "formal" school starting this fall in Charleston, SC. It is called "Cornerstone Creations, LLC - Traditional Artisan School". It is going to be focusing on traditional hand-tool techniques. I have met many skilled people who are professionals in their field who are really excited about teaching.
One class I am very excited about and I think would be of special interest to SAPFM members - Building and Carving a Charleston Tea Table.
Other classes are hand-cut traditional inlay, beginning relief woodcarving, advanced furniture carving, traditional hand caning for chairs, making a shaker table, and much more...
Check out the details on my web site www.marymaycarving.com.
Come on down to Charleston when it's snowy up there and balmy down here!
