The Great Lakes Chapter Fall meeting has been set for a single day, Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Sam Beauford Woodworking Institute in Adrian, Michigan.
This SAPFM meeting is open to all SAPFM dues paying members and their guests.
There will be a request of $15 per person to cover charges for coffee, soda, lunch and snacks. We will have lunch at the meeting site. The lunch will be sub sandwiches. Please RSVP so we have an accurate number of attendees for lunch reservations and refreshments.
Doors open at 9AM. Arrive, relax, and have coffee and snacks with friends.
9:30 – Show and Tell, bring any completed piece or any piece under construction to discuss and show off. Also, please bring any tools, books, etc. you’d like to sell or pass on to others.
10:30 – Veteran’s Woodworking Exhibition at SBWI; Steve Lash,
11:00 – Antebellum, African American woodworkers; Dennis Heyza
Noon to 1:00 Lunch at Sam Beauford Woodworking Institute.
1:00 – Backsaws; use, clean up and sharpening; Jim Crammond
2:30 – Project report, Bombe chest construction; Sam Rhodes
3:00 – Tall Case Clock Construction; Dale Ausherman
