The Fall 2019 meeting of the Delaware Valley Chapter is this Saturday, October 12 at 9 A.M. in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. An abbreviated notice from David Potts, Chapter Coordinator, is attached: We are also inviting nineteen interested woodworkers who we met Friday and Saturday at the Lie-Nielsen Event and Hearne Hardwoods Open House. We will probably be asking for $20 or less at the door to cover coffee and donuts, materials and overhead.
Our Fall 2019 meeting is almost upon us. I wanted to send a final reminder so we can get as many members in attendance as possible.

Here is a list of scheduled presenters (in no particular order):
1) Bill Fagnant will be reviewing steps on restoring a Yates American band saw. I asked him to bring it along but it is over 3000 pounds. Maybe next time.
2) Denise Palko will go over the design, layout, joinery and hardware of a drawer gallery. Any hidden compartments, Denise?
3) Joe Corigliano will display a "Barred" door and discuss his time at North Bennet Street school (the mecca of wood learning)
4) Marc Gaertner will demonstrate the proper way to sharpen carving tools
5) David Potts will be bringing a recently finished Lunette banding demo
and two members of the FabLab have graciously agreed to demo their skills.
6) Michael Brolly, a very talented furniture maker and artist will demo his talents for us.

7) Sean Kernan will demo the 4th axis wood CNC router. Wait until you see this!

Please take the time to RSVP to Lindave105 at hotmail.com as soon as you can so I can have all the name badges ready.
I truly appreciate everyone's effort to come and I hope to see you there.
GET READY FOR A GREAT MEETING!!!!
Yours in sawdust,
David Potts
PS I finally got a cell phone (609-694-8127)
