For those of you interested, and possibly unaware, the CSADA antiques show is October 17th & 18th at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles, IL.
This show is put on every April and October.
Their website is www.csada.com
I have attended it the past few years and, as a period furniture builder, it is a great place to stroll around and look at all the period furniture that the vendors are selling. There is usually quite a bit to see and look at and have never been turned down by a seller in taking measurements and/or photographs of the pieces. Everything from high-end to primitives is there and it is concentrated on 18th, 19th, and early 20th century antiques.
Just thought I would share that in case anyone was interested. With us being in the Midwest, and not on the East Coast, the opportunity to see a decent amount of period furniture collected in one place can be harder to come by.
Thanks for reading and I hope some of you are able to enjoy the show as I will.
