Newport Style Tall Clock Class
Build a Newport style tall clock. This clock is considered one of the richest looking examples of the Goddard clocks. The clock(s) that you make will become be a family heirloom(s) with your name on it and remain in your family for generations to come. The original clock case is constructed from mahogany and has a brass eight day movement with a painted dial. This class is a great opportunity to learn how to build a magnificently beautiful tall clock case.

Class hours: 8:30AM to 4:00PM (Instructor presence)
Shop Hour 7:00AM to 6:00PM
Class Location: Warrenton, Virginia
Class Student level: 6 minimum, 8 maximum
Tuition: $3000.00
Enrollment: To secure a place in the class requires a $500.00 non refundable deposit. You will not have secured a place in the class until the deposit is received. Enrollment will be on a first received deposit basis.
Student Requirements: Must have a work shop; use their own hand tools in class; provide wood, hardware, clock face and movement, and turnings.
Class cancellation Policy: If the class minimum amount of students is not achieved, the class will be cancelled and all deposits returned.
Provided with the class: A DVD containing a full scale drawing, DVD showing steps of class example construction; Shop-notes which will contain templates and necessary detailed drawings, and other needed construction details.
