Open to all SAPFM members regardless of chapter affiliation:

The special August meeting of the Virginia Chapter is fast approaching.
There are some details still to be worked out but we need your responses
to make final arrangements.

When:  Saturday, August 23, 9:00 A.M. until 4:00

Where:  Jefferson's Poplar Forest in Lynchburg, VA.

What:  A special meeting of the Virginia Chapter and all other interested
SAPFM members

Tentative program:

- Tour of Poplar Forest

- Show and tell and get acquainted

-  Short business meeting  (one particular topic: decide on the name
change, Shenandoah or Blue Ridge)

- Lunch

- Member presentations (please submit the item you'd like to present) we'll amend this if the Poplar
Forest shop agrees to address us instead.

-  Wrap up

- Tentative no-host dinner in Lynchburg  (We need a tentative head count
to make a reservation)

Cost:  TBD but not more than $25.

We need to know a tentative head count so that we can order lunch.  Also,
is there interest in hotel rooms in Lynchburg for Friday and or Saturday?
We are looking into a deal but need some idea of how many rooms might be
needed.

Attendance, dinner and hotel are not firm commitments but we do need
working numbers.

I hope to see a big turnout for this meeting.  see you there.
