Does any one have a source for brass line/string inlay and maybe even a thin 1/8" or so disc shape?

Thanks

You might have to slice the disc off of round bar stock to get smaller than 1/2" dia. sizes.

Thanks.  Totally forgot about Constantines.  next question- do you think the 1/8" or and maybe the 1/4" wide strip could be wrapped around a 2" diameter leg without kinking?  I obviously dont have any brass laying around to try it out.  If I cant wrap it I figured I could try and cut a disk from a round brass dowel maybe.  Dont have much experience in brass work......Worse case is I talk them into gilding...

Having never done this I'm just thinking out loud, maybe someone with experience will chime in.

Probably be easier to cut some brass tube or cut some leg caps down. I'm sure the brass strips could be wrapped, but it sounds very time consuming. You can find lots of brass strip, tubes and other shapes on eBay in small quantities, reasonably priced.
