Bookstand: William & Mary Rarity

Charles, not sure where to post this bookstand.  Very nice layout in Popular Woodworking #186.  Never thought of a bookstand with William & Mary.  You have inspired me to make at least two!  Thanks for the great idea.

Yeah, very impressive presentation of what has to be a fairly rare form, i have never seen a W&M bookstand before either. The finishing aspect of Chuck's piece is outstanding, very thoughtful. I think many of todays woodworkers dont give the finish of their work the attention it deserves. IMO, it's just as important as the woodworking itself.
