The Peach State Chapter will meet for three days of demonstrations and presentations given by Al Breed. Al is a professional cabinet and chair maker and carver who mostly builds New England furniture from the 17th and 18th Centuries. Al builds fine reproduction furniture for many museums as well as for fine auction houses who provide reproductions to those families who offer their original pieces at auction. Al also teaches monthly classes at his workshop at an old mill in New Hampshire. He has been featured in numerous Fine Woodworking and other woodworking magazines as well as demonstrating in numerous national woodworking forums. Al is the 2012 SAPFM Cartouche Awardee. This will be a three day paid event. The fee for the entire event will be $300.00 including lunch and refreshments each day. Due to space limitations we cannot offer single day registrations.
To register please sent a check for $300.00 made out to Peach State SAPFM to Arnie Moore at his address in the letterhead. Attendance may be limited so if a limit is reached registration will be based on the date the check is received. If contingencies force you to cancel, full refunds will be made for cancellations made by Monday, October 9 and probably after with a moderately good excuse.
In spite of the levity, early registrations are greatly appreciated since advance plans must be made for lunches and refreshments.
