Advice on different dyes/tints

I have used alkaline dyes in the past but would like to experiment with other products that are now on the market.

Open suggestions are welcome, but my specific questions are:
   
    Do you know the pros/cons of either Mixol or TransTint?

    Do you have any personal experience with either?

Trans tint dyes, manufactured by Jeff Jewitt are analine dyes mixed in a proprietary solvent that allow them to be used in either solvent or waterbased finishes. They are great dyes and have replaced powdered dyes in my shop. I believe that they are based on the water dyes so that they are very light fast. I don't have any experience with Mixol.
