Goddard-Townsend document chest
« on: October 29, 2013, 08:19:58 AM »
I have Al Breed's plans for the Goddard-Townsend document chest. Has anyone out there made this piece in the past?  I'm stumped on the bottom molding.

I believe Fine Woodworking had an article in the past covering the build of the same document chest.

I know several people who made the document chest.  So if you don't mind, post your question and maybe I can get the answer for you.

Thanks,

I found the article in fine woodworking and it answered my questions.

Thanks

The related article is in the July/August 2005 issue of FWW.   The article is well done, but having seen the quality and detail of Al Breed's plans I'd still purchase those.  (This cabinet is on my bucket list, and I've been tempted to purchase the plan from Al but need to get a few other things built first).

I ahve the FWW issue and Al Breeds plans. I think the plans are worth buying, better details.
