Fall Meeting of the Southern California Chapter

Dear Fellow Woodworkers and SAPFM members,

You are invited to the Fall meeting of the Southern California Chapter of the Society of American Period Furniture Makers (So. CAL. SAPFM).   For this year's fall meeting we have been invited to join the San Diego Fine Woodworkers Associations' Fall Seminar.  We are pleased to announce that the world renowned master cabinetmaker Frank Klausz will host this seminar.  Please see the attached poster for more information and sign up instructions.  The seminar will be on September 20, 21, 22, 2013 at FRANCIS PARKER SCHOOL 6501 Linda Vista Rd San Diego, CA 92111.  We are planning to have our chapter meeting on Saturday most likely during our lunch break time.

The goal of SAPFM and the So. CAL. Chapter is to promote, education and share appreciation for those interested in Making, Restoring, Conserving, and Studying American Period Furniture.

Our meetings are open to all SAPFM members.  Members are encouraged to bring a guest who might be interested in joining.  If you are not yet a member but have an interest or need to renew, please be prepared to fill out your application, which will processed for you.  Annual SAPFM membership is $60, which includes your Journal.  There is no dues for our Chapter.

Initially, our plan is to have a minimum of two (2) chapter meetings each year augmenting the two (2) National meetings each year in January and June.  We expect to rotate the meetings between Cerritos College (LA area) and Palomar Colleges(SD area)  as meeting locations.

Please mark your calendars and sign up for our Fall meeting as soon as possible.  Please e-mail us if you will be able to join us or not, so we can keep track of who will be attending our meeting, we want to make sure we have plenty of space available for our meeting.

If you have any questions please contact us.
