This morning (Nov. 18, 2014) SAPFM member Jamie Bacon passed away. Jamie had been battling cancer for some time.

Charles, that's terrible news. We were fortunate to have had Jamie's contributions to our chapter. He presented his Seaton saw and chisel reproductions at our Harrisburg meeting and inspired many of us along the way. He was a fine craftsman and a great guy.  I was glad to see him at our meeting a couple of weeks ago, and am very sorry it was for the last time. We will miss his contributions and his presence.

His Blog is wonderful.  Might someone post a photo of Jamie?

Look about half way down the main page of the blog, on the right hand side (next to the picture captioned "My first 'successful' spoon.")  There's a picture below the link titled 'About Me'.
