I purchased a Veritas quick release sliding tail vise to upgrade my old work bench. I installed it and immediately realized that I had to get an entirely new bench because my old one was so bad. It's the case of one small upgrade makes you realize the true condition of what you've been living with!
So I uninstalled the vise, and set out to get a new bench. I've had this vise sitting in its original packaging lying around for a couple of years thinking I would find a use for it, but to no avail.
I'm clearing out unused stuff, so this vise tops the list. It's been installed, uninstalled, and is in complete, and new and essentially unused condition.
This is a truly excellent product. I just couldn't use it on my new bench, because I settled on a different style of bench.
