Veneering with hide glue

I'm doing a project that involves veneering a panel with crotch mahagony and plan to use hide glue. I'd like to add urea as retardant to slow down the glue, but have been unable to find any source on-line for small quantities of urea (however I did find multiple sources who will sell it by the ton). Does anyone know any specific sourse for small quantities of urea?
Has anyone tried to modify hot hide glue by mixing with cold hide glue (Franklin's or "Old Brown Glue") to slow down gelling? If so how did it work? What proportions did you use?

All help appreciated

Thanks Jim

I ordered online from Pianotek.
I'm sure that after I get it I'll be back to the forum for advice.
