Vase-Back or Shield-Back Chair Plans

Does anyone have plans, dimensions, or a template for a vase-back or shield-back chair?  I've been looking for resources, but haven't been able to find a good source.  Any help in pointing me in the correct direction would be appreciated.
 
Also, there is a version of a shield-back chair on the cover of the 2007 American Period Furniture SAPFM publication.  If anyone has a copy, can you let me know if there are more details on the build available in the publication.  If so, likely I'll purchase a copy.
 
Unfortunately, there are no plans or construction details for the chair inside this issue of American Period Furniture.
