An astounding accumulation of vintage and antique hand tools offered for sale at the largest old tool sale in Texas, and quite possibly beyond! The Tool Sale is second to none when it comes to bringing you good user grade to collectible, aged to perfection, older hand tools for use in woodworking, machining, and various related trades. Literally tons of tools will be available from such fine American makers as Stanley, Sargent, Union, Millers Falls, Keen Kutter, Starrett, Goodell Pratt, Lufkin, Atkins, Disston, North Brothers (Yankee), and many more. Tool collectors, woodworkers, metalworkers, machinists, handymen, hobbyists, designers, and nostalgia buffs will appreciate this unique opportunity and most certainly will come away with some tool related treasure for their workshop or personal stash. An assortment of items for the advertising collector and an excellent selection of back issue woodworking magazines and books will be included. As always, an eclectic mix of odd ball, seldom heard of and rarely seen, what the heck is this, my grandpa had one of those, I've been lookin' for that, I don't know what it is but it's the nicest one I've ever seen, and just plain weird stuff will be scattered about to keep things interesting! We'll do our best to keep the old sorehead from insulting anyone, as he is prone to do on occasion.

P.S. For those of you coming in from out of town, these are the two closest facilities to the Tool Sale.
The Days Inn is about a mile down the road and certainly the closest. We recently had some folks over who were staying at this motel and they were pleased with the accommodations and reported that it was very clean and comfortable. I have spoken with personnel at the Days Inn and they have offered a double room for $62.00 plus tax if you call ahead for a reservation and mention the Tool Sale. The Regency Hotel is a bit farther away (though still very close) and a few dollars more, but with more amenities. By going through one of the internet booking sites like Travelocity or Expedia you may get a better price. There are more upscale choices along LBJ / 635 in both directions if that is your preference.
