I was asked to write a review of Tony's new book on carving 18th century elements, “Carving 18th-Century American Furniture Motifs”.  My review was published in the recent Pins and Tales e-magazine.

If you are interested in learning more about carving some of the most important elements of the 18th century, I would recommend you take a look at his book.  You can buy if directly from Tony at http://www.tonykubalak.com/

My review includes many photos of his work and the elements carved.

How does this book vary from his first book? I own the first and don't want to double up on the same info/lessons! Thanks!

Tony's second book is all new, featuring nine new elements. His first book was one hundred and two pages, the second book, one hundred and sixty. There are many more pictures in the second. It is doubtful that you would be disappointed. I would highly recommend the book as there is nothing like it currently available.
