SAPFM Indiana Chapter October Meeting Official Announcement
Hi All,
On Saturday, October 9th, we will be heading over to the Indianapolis Woodcraft where Jeff Headley and Steve Hamilton will be explaining techniques on a Philadelphia Serpentine Card Table. They will be conducting a class at Marc Adams the following week on this project. The times will be 9am to 3pm, with a break for lunch. For lunch, we can have a community chip in and have something (pizza or something) brought into the workshop. THEN on October 16th, the following Saturday, we will have Mary May coming in to show us how to carve a Samuel McIntire Fruit Basket. She will also be teaching a carving course at Marc Adams the following week. This meeting will be located at the Fishers Indiana Public Library. The times for this session will be 9am to 3pm also. Besides carving the fruit basket, Mary will be discussing her sharpening technique. For lunch, we will be going to McAllister's Deli, which is across the street from the location.
If anyone is interested, Mary and Jeff will be bringing some CD's with plans and DVD's to sell the meeting. To make sure they bring enough, feel free to send Mary and Jeff a note to let them know your order.
Due to the travel requirements for both meetings, there will be a small fee to cover the hotel and meals. Please RSVP as soon as possible and I will reply back to everyone how much it will be. It should not be more that $15-20 per person at each meeting, but that depends on how many attendees we have.
Please send over your RSVP as soon as you can. This meeting will be open to all paid members of SAPFM.
