Restoration Glass Needed

Help,
I am building a large unit and in need of some seed glass for the doors. I checked with Bendheim and the sheets they offer are not tall enough.  I need something around 45-50 inches tall with slight distortion and a few seeds... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Michael,

I am vaguely familiar with the cylinder process of making sheet glass and am curious if pieces were routinely made in the sizes you need. A 50" length of glass would require a 16" dia. cylinder. Was this within the capability of most glass furnaces?

There might be something in this thread that may help. http://sapfm.org/forum/index.php?topic=950.0

Mike, you might try Franklin Art Glass in Columbus, OH -www.franklinartglass.com

When I lived in Cincinnati I did some restoration stained glass for a woman who owned a shop and she dealt with Franklin to supply her shop. I stopped in one day on a business trip and it is a very large supplier of art glass, the maybe able to meet your need. Good Luck, Rick
