Report on Great Lakes Chapter Fall Meeting 2015
The weekend of Oct. 24 and 25, the Great Lakes Chapter held their fall meeting. The meeting started with Mike Holden stepping down as the Chapter leader and handing off his duties to myself, Andrew Messimer. We thank Mike for his time and wish him the best.
Several members brought things to show. I brought an Alaskan sawmill/chainsaw mill to show the members a potential source of lumber from what otherwise would be firewood.
Bill Vetter better brought some brass hammers. One was his fathers, the other he turned using his wood lathe with wood lathe chisels and gouges. (Unfortunately I have no photo of Bill since he provided the pictures for this. Thanks Bill for recording our meetings through photos.)
