Rejuvenation of Chapter

If you are interested in participating in the SAPFM chapter either in a planning capacity or in the form of a presentation at a  future meeting, please identify yourself. You can drop me a private message or just indicate your willingness on this forum.

Initially we need a small group to get together and plan for a future meeting. Answers needed are where to have the meeting. What costs would be encountered. Should  the Carolina chapters be combined based on the number interested in participating.
Potential presentations.  And I am sure a number of other items need to be discussed.

Update 8/16/2016:
Spoke with the Manager of the Raleigh Woodcraft store today and he is very willing to allow us to use the shop for a gathering/meeting. He indicated that he may even allow say a 10% off on the Woodcraft tools the week end of the meeting.

Also Phil S. indicated that he would be willing to allow his shop to be used for the meetings.

I am interested.  I Live in Winston Salem.  I have been a member for a few years and have attended Tidewater chapter meetings in Edenton, NC and Suffolk, VA.  I met today with Tom Sears who is on the National Board.  He lives in Greensboro and wants to get the BackCountry Chapter reactivated.  We, too are looking for interested woodworkers and places to meet.  There will be a SAPFM booth at the Klingspor woodworking show in Hickory this fall and we hope to generate some interest from that exposure.

I am new to SAPFM and would like to join this chapter.  I live in Durham.  Please tell how to join.

Thanks!
