The Lone Star Chapter of the Society of American Period Furniture Makers met on December 1, 2007 at the home of member Tom Kroeger in Spring, Texas. Dan Phillips, from Dallas, Texas, did an outstanding presentation on veneering, inlaying and shading. Of particular interest to all was the shading, cutting and inlaying of bell flowers. Thanks, Dan, for all of your efforts, an outstanding and informative presentation and a job well done! Everyone really appreciated your great teaching.
There were about sixteen members present and everyone really enjoyed the meeting and celebrating our second anniversary as a SAPFM chapter. A special thanks to Pat Kroeger for doing such a great job as hostess for our meeting. Hope to see you all next year!
