New Port Shell

Thank you, Al. To all interested, the latest photos have had comments added to them. I have sent an email to the group tonight (Nov. 3). If anyone who is following this project has not received this email and would like to be included please let me know by emailing me at [email protected]. Also, if I am going too fast, too slow, too much detail, too little detail, let me know that as well.
Thanks
Fran

the details are great, that trick with the sheetrock screw in the board to get your depth is so simple but so perfect, I wish I'd have known that when I carved the shells in my Queen Anne Highboy.  If I get nothing more from this Lesson I will feel like it was worth my time. Thanks again for doing this.

My pleasure. I have been woodworking for something like 35 years so I'm sure I'll be coming up with a few more simplified versions of overly complicated solutions for you. Stay tuned.
