Registration is likely going to be in early April.  Look for email announcing the details.  Here is the recent article by Bob Van Dyke in the Pins and Tails magazine.

Put aside the dates June 22-26, 2017, and make plans to head down to Old
Salem, North Carolina, where MESDA (http://mesda.org) will be the host for
what should be a truly exceptional Midyear Conference.

This year’s presenters include Steve Latta, Martin O’Brien, and 2015 Cartouche Award recipient
Ronnie Young.

Tom has arranged a unique opportunity on Monday, June
26, for an optional trip for a close-up look at the furniture and grounds of Ayr Mount in Hillsborough,
North Carolina.

As always, the Midyear will be limited to 90 participants
and the Monday tour limited to 48 participants, so keep an eye
out for the registration on the website.

Registration will begin on the SAPFM website on or around April 1, 2017, so
please don’t start obsessing about it before then!

MESDA and Old Salem staff will be giving presentations related to the
town and region, and how they influenced the furniture of this area. A
full spouse program, including hearth cooking, pottery making, and more, will also be
offered. The spring issue of Pins & Tales will have all the details, so stay tuned, and don’t
miss it! —BVD
