Our next meeting is on May 2nd at The Landing in Shakopee, 9 -12. We will be touring some of the buildings and planning our demonstration for "Early Minnesota Trades" weekend which will be on Sat. August 8, 10:00 to 5:00 and Sun. August 9, 12:00 to 5:00. Three of us camped out there last year after our 6pm meeting. We planned for a potluck last year but the park fed us, good food too! I am hoping for a bigger group this year.
May 2nd is civil war weekend so plan on staying and taking some of that in as well.
At least 9 of our members have pieces in the upcoming
woodworkers guild show at Southdale Mall in Edina April 23 through April 26. I plan to set up a bench and work there for the duration of the show. Let's try to figure out when we could meet during the show, have a bit of a meeting and tour the show together.
