Marlborough Leg Details

I am going to be making a coffee table and I'm planning on using some sort of Marlborough leg and accompaning bracket. I've begun to search for details in my fairly limited collection of furniture books with out much success. I did find some tables in the Joseph Downs book with a similar type of leg. However, I would like to find a resource with some more detail on both the leg and bracket.

My main goals are to find a few different options for the surface moulding on the legs, shape and carving details for the brackets, and detail of the moulding at the lower edge of the apron. Also are the legs typically profiled only on the outer faces, and left square on the inner faces to accomodate attachment of the apron and brackets? 

Any help or direction to a source with some information would be greatly appreceated. Thanks
 
Legs were typically profiled only on the outside faces although, like any detail, you can probably find some exceptions.

A good source for the leg brackets is Volume III of Wallace Nutting's Furniture Treasury, pp291-293. Nutting also includes some Marlborough leg details. All of the images are line drawings but I've found them easier to work with than photos.

Another source for leg and bracket details is p345 of American Furniture in the Metropolitan Museum of Art; there are probably countless other resources.
