On Saturday, January 31, 2009, the Lone Star chapter held it's annual business/planning meeting and BBQ at the home of Norman Landry. With the bribe of food, attendance was good. We were able to share our ideas for upcoming programs for the year. We also discussed our participation in the Woodworking show in April, our continued support and demonstrations at Bayou Bend and continuing our outreach to young woodworkers by acting as judges for the regional woodshop competitions, held annually and sponsoring students to membership in SAPFM. We acomplished our goals for the meeting. With business concluded, it was time to eat.
