Lolling Chairs Complete

Wow, I was just looking at my posted questions when I first started these chairs and I can't believe it has been a year.  Not sure when I started making sawdust, but I know I was working on the design this time last year.  Time flies.  Anyway, here they are.  I actually finished them in November, but they got pushed aside during the holidays.  The upholstry guy delivered them Saturday.  these pictures are poor (from my phone), but you can at least see what I did.  They sit quite well and are easy to get in and out of.  I'm very pleased.  The upholsterer did a fantastic job.  The wood is makore and poplar.  I used aniline dye stains (Lockwood - a brown and a red mahogany).  The finish is wipe on poly.  I used all sorts of references for the design.  The arms are completely mine.  I chose not to use stretchers as I didn't see the need and I like the cleaner look.
