Jim Altemus passed away yesterday (9/24/19). His wife Carol asked me to share the news with SAPFM membership. I beleive Jim was a member of the of the Board at one point, and he organized and ran the Iroquois chapter. He was also a long time member of our local club, the Rochester Woodworkers Society.
Calling hours will be at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, 2 South Ave., Bloomfield this Sunday, September 29th from 2-5 p.m.
A memorial service will be held at the Brooks Grove Church at the Genesee Country Village & Museum in Mumford, NY on Tuesday, October 15th at 2 p.m. Guests will be able to park in the interpreter lot for closer access to the church, and there will be special signage for parking. There will be a reception following.
